Fuji X-E2 Command Dial different than X-E1?

I've seen some video reviews where it appears as if the user is rotating the rear command dial of the X-E2 to change settings. On the X-E1 and X100S the command dial was more of a clickable toggle/rocker switch that can't be rotated. Is the X-E2's command dial different?

That's unusual, was this an X-E1 prototype? All the X-E1 samples I have seen featured the same dial as the X-E2, and quite similar to the one in the X-Pro1.

Which is what type? A fully rotate able wheel?

On my X-E1 and X100S you could push the dial left or right one 'detent' to adjust a setting but you couldn't continually rotate it around. ( unless I was using it wrong I. In which case I'll feel pretty foolish)

Nevermind. It was just the X100S I was thinking of. I only had an X-E1 for a short period of time so I wasn't remembering correctly. I definitely prefer the implementation of the command dial on the X-mount cameras to the X100/X100S though.
