Interesting - I'll check out Photo Ninja with some of my shots as well. I hate to lose my all-in-one workflow with LR but if it can do better with foliage details it may be worth it at least for when I'm processing X-trans landscapes.
I simply don't need it for everything. For the "flow of consciousness" that are my internet shots it is not really necessary at all -- but for the few I make large prints of it'll be great. So I'll only have a different workflow when I need top quality.
I'm shooting RAW+JPG now so most of the time the JPG will be fine.
