Long awaited!

I found shooting with this new zoom pretty enjoyable. The key word here is versatility. Covering the full-frame equivalent of 27-206mm, the XF18-135mm is designed to be the only lens you may need during a trip or vacation.

I'm still reading, Rico, but it does sound like a great new lens.

AF + MF feature sounds GREAT. I imagine I'll use it a lot with focus and recompose (just to confirm I have focus where I want it).

LOL, you would have to move the AF frame in MF mode to confirm critical focus. Beats the purpose.
