Fuji Showcase X Pro 2 Images

First two, Fuji 35/2 and the dog pic is the 50mm Summilux

It is, with a touch of post-processing to tweak levels and contrast and add a little moody vignetting.

A friend at the camera store last night, shot raw and converted to Acros+R.

Just got my new X-Pro2 today, and what better to take it out for a walk with the dogs! A great day here in northern Iceland, sun, some clouds, almost no wind, almost like spring is already here!
And I must say, I'm impressed by this camera. So far SOOC jpegs (and I do love Acros!), but can't wait until Capture One will support the RAW files. Really curious what you can do with that!

I use the built-in raw converter for the rare times I need to go back to the raw file - typically to adjust shadow or highlights, or to change to colour from Acros. It's surprisingly good, and definitely improved on the previous generation.

How so?

Two ways - the joystick - which I will never use to move a focus point about - is incredibly useful in playback. Raw processing is significantly quicker as a result.

Secondly, the files themselves look better once processed. I know this is subjective, but I have taken some of the same subjects with 1 and 2 and 2 gives more tonal depth.

Do you think that's a function of the raw converter itself, or moreso due to the new sensor in the camera?

Very hard to say - it's above my technical pay grade However I think it's likely a bit of both. The bigger files are more malleable in Photoshop even in jpg form, and I can't believe that they didn't do some tinkering with the raw algorithms while they had the bonnet up.

Some more with the X-Pro2, now with the 100-400mm. Great combo! The lens is fairly big, but still easy to handle. And the IOS.... great! These shots are taken yesterday in Husavik, Northern Iceland. All SOOC with classic chrome film simulation.

Yes those are great. I imagine there's plenty to do with such a long lens in a place that wide open.
