Fuji X-S10 firmware update stripped my info

Whoa - I am unpleasantly shocked.
I did the currently released firmware update yesterday and today attempted to use the camera.
Boo 🙁 I had to reset date and time-zone. I don't know what other settings it might have lost.

I've done dozens of firmware updates on various cameras of various brands and this has never happened before

Has this update had the same results for you?

On occasion, Fuji does do a full reset after a firmware update. Usually I’ve had it happen after a major version jump, say like from 1.1 to 2.

Rare, but no unheard of.

Backing up the settings is my normal first step before doing any firmware upgrades. Probably won't help for lost date/time, but will hopefully ensure that other settings can be restored post-upgrade when necessary.
