I want to know is it possible to override autofocus from the shutter release button.
Basically I want to set focus (autofocus) with the AF-L Button, once focused I want to be able to release that button without loosing the focus. If I do that, then when I press the shutter release it will try o acquire focus again....
I am not sure I am explaining myself well... I used to shoot NIKON and I used the back focusing button, when I released it I could fire anytime without changes in the focus until I press that button again... Can't find a way to do it on the X-T1 unless I keep the AF-L pressed or with manual focus... anybody knows if doable?
