Fuji X-T1 focusing glitch?

1. Put your X-T1 in Adv mode, with "Select Color: Red" as the advanced mode.
2. Put your camera in manual focus.
3. Try to focus manually.

Mine will not with any of my lenses (14, 27, 35, 56). Seems like a software bug.

All X series cameras are AF only in any of the advanced filter modes. Why? I couldn't say, but it's a conscious decision rather than a glitch.

In that case, the camera should still focus automatically, though.

It will focus fine, in auto. Well, it will do its best. Which brings me to how I came to discover this... in "Select Color: Red" it often fails to focus properly on something near me. I've been experimenting with that color option for a project, and I keep getting frustrated, switching to manual, and not being able to actually effing focus. It makes no sense. The camera literally cannot be made to focus on the flower etc 4 feet in front of me UNLESS I:

- Put it in Single Shot mode
- Put it in Manual Focus
- Focus on said flower etc properly by hand
- Switch back to Adv mode
- Take the shot

on my xe2, you're locked into AF no matter what focus mode you're in.

i guess MF lenses, only, for MFing.
