Fuji X-T1 Image Samples

Sandy has issued betas of his improved AccuRaw and the new AccuRaw Monochrome converter: AccuRaw - Get The Beta

I like the monochrome approach. At high-ISO, noise is rendered like fine grain. Here's a sample series from a X-T1:

Very nice! I looked through the flickr stream, some great stuff. I'm curious though, do you not retouch on purpose? Some of the shots definitely lend themselves to that (in particular the slightly Terry Richardson-esque direct flash ones), but some, like this one, have me reaching for my pen and tablet. :) Please don't take that the wrong way, it's not a criticism, I just feel like I would retouch some of those a fair amount, and I'm curious as to what your thoughts are there?

Thanks for the kind words. As far as retouching goes... that "look" really just has no appeal to me. For commercial clients and other work, sure I'll put more time into it beyond the simple blemish removal I do for these... but my flickr is really just a personal and anonymous outlet for me, so I shoot what I like and how I like to see it :).

Was watching my dog play the other day and put it in Continuous. I think it did pretty good. Probably not great because of the person behind the camera. All SOOC Jpegs with the 23mm.
