Fuji X-T1 won't AF with EF42 turned on

All of a sudden, my X-T1 will not auto focus when I mount and turn on my EF-42.
It worked initially, but lately does not.

The camera otherwise works fine and with the EF-X8.

Anyone else have a similar problem or know if I'm doing something wrong?

I just tried my EF-42 on the X-T1 on a variety of settings and it is working fine. Tell me what setting you have and I'll try to run it.
My first EF-42 went dead and I sent it to Fuji. They replaced it with a refurbished/repaired unit.

Turns out it was the batteries (rechargeable Eneloops) that were nearly out, and apparently the X-T1 will not auto focus when the EF-42 is mounted with dead/dying batteries.

All's well now.
