Here's my granddaughter with her face painted, along with a 100% crop of her eye. One of my more interesting self-portraits. XF 70-300 with the 1.4 TC. I must say I'm impressed with the detail and sharpness, especially with the TC

Wow, that is some lens Steve.
About the image, is it RAW or JPEG? And is is post processed? If so, how?

Let’s see:
1. Raw file
ACR:
2. Auto exposure adjust. This time it did very little.
3. Noise reduction- I think that ACR does fine, but I’ve never tried anything else.
In PS:
4. A little smart sharpening, to counteract:
5. I reduce the file size with smoothing.

I follow this same basic procedure with all my posts here. I rarely post starting with a jpeg.

Just to note: I first saw this eye reflection when reviewing the jpeg on the X-T5. When I zoomed by clicking the rear dial, it zoomed on the focus point and there it was. When the lens can actually resolve the the 40 mp sensor, it is impressive.
