X10 goes gigging

This past week has seen me and my X10 attend a couple of gigs. The first was to see The Eels (Novocaine for the Soul, Susan's House, My Beloved Monster (featured in one of the Shrek movies)) at quite an intimate venue in Oxford following their performances at this year's V Festival. Apart from resizing, these are straight from the camera jpegs, for the real close-ups I used the Intelligent Digital zoom function

A couple of days later, we headed to Brixton, London to catch Green Day play a 'warm-up' gig prior to them playing the Reading and Leeds festival. Although some would say it was a small venue for such a band, I couldn't quite get the viewpoint as I had with the Eels gig (the experience was still quite something though :)

Well, how about this for a bit of a co-incidence...? My home town (Aylesbury, UK) runs an annual free music festival - The Hobble on the Cobbles - and today was the day. One of the bands - Tin Spirits - features, amongst it's line-up, Dave Gregory, formally of... XTC :D

Whilst a rendition of 'Making Plans...' wasn't forthcoming from the band, they did produce a version of 'Senses Working Overtime'. :D

And, one for you Prog Rockers out there... the guitarist below on the left, playing in one of his side projects, is Pete Trewavas, bass guitarist for Marillion, a band that started life in Aylesbury :)

Nice photos . How is the sound on this model? Does it stand up well to a typical loud rock concert or does it break up and crackle?
Thanks.
