The church sits atop a big hill in Reykjavik. No matter how you approach it, you are shooting uphill and I couldn't find a way to get it in with it's surroundings. The first pic is from about 100m and as you can see, has quite an uphill tendency. The second is taken from halfway down the hill looking up a street. I think the only way would be to take pics of it from an aircraft. The rest are from the top. Spectacular views. Too bad it wasn't sunny!Keven, much appreciated! I wondered if it might have been made of concrete. The next time you're there, or if you have any other photographs you'd care to share, it would be rather cool to see the church in more of its setting...to get a feeling for the land and perhaps the sea? How about a view from the top?
