Fuji X100s - Am I a liar ?

Ok, ok -- just for fun really.
But people, help me with with my guilt here.
A while ago, I pre-ordered the X100s, therefore it has already been bought.
Then after this occasion, just recently I'm in a shop with my very understanding and tolarent other half. I say I want to look at the camera section, just to see if the X100s is in stock. She replies, saying "oh you're not going to buy it are you?"
Now technically, it's already bought (just not yet received), so I replied (with a smile) "off course not". My logic being, of course I'm not going to buy it (because it's already bought).

Am I lying or telling the truth ?

Technically you're lying if your credit card has yet to be charged for the X100S you pre-ordered - you haven't 'bought' it yet.

The camera was dispatched yesterday, and my account was debited today.
Hopefully it arrives tomorrow.
This pre-order, and debit only upon dispatch is grey area, no ?

LOL.... Well, luckily my wife knows me all too well.... The vague response I gave with the smile, she read me like a book... Her question was half sarcastic anyway, with the view of "he's got GAS again". I'm lucky enough that I won't be needing bandages (I hope!).
