Fuji X100s -- just when I was loosing hope

Just when I was loosing hope about my X100s limited edition pre order, the following email turns up :

What makes the X100S limited edition different from the regular X100S? Is it that it comes with the leather case or are there additional accessories?

It has a metallic case to put it in.
Also a set of those screw in shutter buttons (plan to add them on my other X-bodies )
And a thumb rest thingy that plugs into he flash slot.

It's a shame they didn't do the same as the Black X100 (maybe in the future).

I don't get it...X100S LE? Where is this coming from? Is it some kind of store package? I've tried googling this Limited Edition package and nothing shows up. Can you please post a pic when it shows up?

Yes. This does look like an in-store exclusive package with metal storage case and assorted accessories. A bit pricy at an equivalent of approx $1700 US.

Fuji's spokesmen were quoted as saying Fuji has no plans for a limited edition, and, if you go by the x100 other limited didn't come out till the end of its production run. I would have liked to see a black version available now as I've ordered mine now as I liked he look of the limited x100.

I think different regions of the world have their own kit editions they put together. I saw this XP1 kit in Saint-Raphael France last summer:
