Fuji X100T electronic rangefinder

Purchased X100T a couple of months ago and am busy learning and using it. The electronic rangefinder (i.e., EVF patch/inset in OVF) used to work, but I can't get it to display now. Is there a setting that might have disabled it?

Meaning push it toward the lens when in OVF mode, as the instructions specify, and as I've been doing? Doesn't work.

Hmm... In that case it sounds like there is something amiss. Assuming you are not in macro mode, in which case you would have evf only, then I would get it checked out.
