Fuji Showcase XC 50-230 Samples

Not the best shot (I had to shoot one handed because the plane came over whilst I had an ice cream) but the first time I have ever managed to get prop blur - thanks you OIS :)

This is cropped in a bit. The plane is a WWII Hurricane, btw.

I've been looking at this lens because I'd like to have something long for the Fujis and I suspect this would handle better on the XE1 than the 55-200.

Because of the weight? I had the 55-200 with the XE-2 and it was absolutely a dream to handle. Granted, I was coming from a D7000 with an 80-200 AFS, so it was featherweight at that point. :D

I do like the weight but I also like the price. :D I only use a lens like this so often. But this way if I want to take the XE3 as a vacation camera I will have a long tele I can take along if I need it.

My wife and I lived in Charlottesville back in the mid-80s. We used to exit I-64 at Lexington and hop on Lee Highway, cutting through Stuarts Draft up to Waynesboro. I remember a burger place that was there that had a funny name on the sign. The Meadow Muffin, maybe?
You got me there. We arrived in 1986 And i have no memory of the aforementioned “Muffin”. We probably went to waynesboro via 64 or 340

Biked to the local pump track with daughter today after work to go have fun. X-E3 and 50-230, grab shots of a guy I sorta recognize from our bike shop, shot over 2 laps he did (ie, about 90 seconds total). These were mindlessly easy to get. And I LIKE them. Thank you again, xc 50-230, for perhaps the 4,000th time.

It's the single finger on the rear brake lever that really got me.
