We traveled to see Mom in Atlanta, and went with her to her cabin near Brevard, NC for a bit as well. Two of my 3 batteries have now decided it's a good time to finally die, so I'm down to one well-worn battery that lasts about 150 shots max. I took the Rok 12, the 35 1.4, and for a wild card, the XC50-230.
We rented a bakfiets similar to the one we just sold, for the one day we had to bike Atlanta. It rocked.

A shop in the Ponce City Market just has this photo studio set up, empty. Backdrop goes smoothly from floor up around into a back wall. So I put the camera on a stool, set intervalometer, 1 minute delay. Prefocused and set settings, jogged over, waited.

Wife's favorite that I took was an accident of sorts. Manual settings, entered a tunnel, too dark. Frantically rolled shutter speed slower with finger, aimed, fired, overexposed, but I kept her steady, so even though I shot it biking 1-handed through a tunnel at 1/15 without a stabilized lens, she's pretty crisp. Sure didn't plan it.

Set up, waited for a bicycle, got this instead.

Enjoying an empty semi-outdoor concert space, Brevard.

Why you bring the 35 with you... stuff like this.

It's grainy, and has been tweaked a bit in post, but this is Adams and Ranier out the plane window courtesy of the 50-230 lens.
