Fuji XT-2 threaded cable release

The new Fuji XT-2 has a threaded shutter release button. Does anyone know what brand of threaded cable shutter release will work with this camera. It is the same on the Xpro-2.

The RR-90 Remote Release is designed for this function, but it plugs into a port rather than working via the button. This page says it is compatible with both XT-2 and X-Pro 2:

As for a threaded cable release, I believe they are standard, so any brand should work, but I'd get the RR-90 instead.

Amin's right. Like PC sockets, threaded shutter releases have not changed for 80-odd years.

I'm going on three years with my $8 Vello. It works great. And when it finally gives up the ghost, I'm $8 away from another shutter release.

I got a bad copy of the RR-90 and ended up with a third party release also compatible with my Canon. Works well. Interesting to know though as I do own a mechanical (screw in) release from years ago. I may try it when my XT-2 gets here.

I tried my old Vivitar mechanical release on my X-T2 and it works like a charm. I hesitate to use it regularly since I would not want it to eventually break my shutter...
