I went with Adorama. So it's a race . . .Well, I took the plunge and "preordered" the X-T20 from B&H. No estimated shipping date yet. I figure late February or early March, which is fine with me.
There are two points here. The heat sink issue is real and can't be wished away. The X-T2 dissipates heat more efficiently. Fuji have said that the X-Pro2 could shoot 4k but only in short bursts, and they won't allow that compromise.
The second point is philosophical. The X-Pro range is aimed at stills photographers. The X-T range is more general in it's applications. Fuji recognise the importance to some people of a converged device shooting stills and video and the X-T2 and X-T20 are clearly positioned to answer that need.
Me, I would buy an X-Pro2s with no video capability at all in a heartbeat...
I'll test it out when I get it. If it sucks, you'll still have time to cancel your order. I haven't sold my X-T10 yet, so I'll be able to do some comparisons in terms of performance.B&H sent me an update email... the X-T20 is still not in stock. That's fine; I was expecting late March anyway.
