I'm thinking I may have to sell a couple more cameras (the fuji550 and canon g11 are in the firing line) in order to get this. What I am seeing in this thread has convinced me its absolutely the best of the bunch at the moment. I can't get such good shots from my G11. Of course... it could be me <g>

Succumbed to the call of the XZ-1 using it is very similar to the 'modes' on the EP1 I think and in a strange way just looking at the camera reminds me of the SP and RC film cameras of the 70/80's.

Congratulations, Penny! Time to update your signature line, eh?

I've been out to the Lake this evening. The XZ performs exactly as well as I expected. I may need to edit the shots (they are pretty much SOOC except for the crop and resize), they seem a little dark to me.

I think an indication of my level of enjoyment of the XZ-1 is that I shot 128 frames in about 45 minutes. I haven't done that with any other camera than my K200D in the past 3 years.

The biggest problem I find with this camera is that it causes dyslexia in some folks by calling it a ZX-1 instead of an XZ-1.
