This one just amuses me. It was taken between setups at a very poorly timed quinceañera shoot. It was about 11am and 98 degrees with high humidity.

I almost forgot to submit my top 3. I was down half of the month due to finally getting to experience this new bug called covid, but still managed to fire the shutters of my cameras a combined 1051 times. Most of those were of course utter cr@p as usual, but still thinning those few trips down to three wasn't that easy. I'll probably disagree with my choices tomorrow, but here we go:

I've shot this view every year at Nukarinkoski rapids, but now a tree had fallen to block my previous viewpoint. Luckily the water was quite low, so I managed to find a place where I could wade to the middle of the river, and using a 15mm lens instead of the usual 45-50 I'd used here I got this:

Familiar places show new faces when you remember to occasionally look down and don't just fixate on the grander view. Kuhakoski rapids gave me this on an after work visit:
